Copyright Law and Technological Advances - Essay Example In the context of the Internet, copyright law operates in such a way that the interests of the genuine owner of creative works, and the rights to the public to access such works are balanced. Hence, protecting creativity in the context of the Internet implies the promoting of intellectual development. In the absence of such protection for intellectual creativity, public access to information would be restricted.
